The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) is responsible for all technology-facilitated sexual abuse and exploitation of children.  The ICAC squad is part of the Federal ICAC Program. This squad's investigations include but are not limited to: 

  • child pornography

  • technology-facilitated sexual exploitation of children

  • solicitation of a child  

The Dallas Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is part of a national law enforcement effort sponsored by the United States Department of Justice to protect children from crimes committed via the Internet through local and national efforts.

The Dallas ICAC task force promotes internet safety awareness by offering classes to both children and parents.  These classes are tailored to the individual audience and discuss online dangers and proper use of the Internet with the goal of reducing the likelihood children will be exposed to the predatory activities of others.
