The Computer Crimes Team investigates crimes involving the Internet and/or crimes that use computers as a medium to the offense. These can include offenses such as Breach of Computer Security and Theft by Deception.

In partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center, the Dallas Police Computer Crimes Squad receives complaints of Internet fraud from the Internet Crime Complaint Center. If you believe you have been a victim of fraud, please file a complaint at http://www.ic3.gov. The IC3 acts as a clearinghouse for Internet crimes and will forward your complaint to the appropriate investigative agency.
